Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television shows. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents fled to the US and were given asylum. She is the middle sister of two sisters and was born in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada got her start on the television scene with a few National Commercials. The Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character in Chiara a performance for which she was awarded the film festival's best actress nomination. She was also an actress in numerous television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in 2008 when she joined the crew of The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In season 2 Night Shift, she played the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesperson on HBO Entourage.
